Home Health

At The Struggle for Community Support Alliance (SCSA) / Pambana Saidia Jamii, we recognize that good health is the foundation for dignity, productivity, and community development. Yet many families in our communities face preventable health challenges due to poverty, limited access to care, and lack of awareness.

Our Health & Well-being Program is dedicated to improving community health, promoting preventive practices, and supporting vulnerable groups to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

How We Support Health & Well-being

  • Community Health Education
We organize awareness campaigns on HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, maternal and child health, reproductive health, nutrition, and hygiene practices.

  • Primary Health Care Support
We partner with local health facilities to connect vulnerable families with essential medical services and facilitate community outreach programs.

  • Maternal, Newborn & Child Health
We promote safe motherhood through antenatal and postnatal education, support for skilled birth attendance, and child immunization drives.

  • Mental Health & Psychosocial Support
We provide counseling, awareness, and community dialogue sessions to break the stigma around mental health while offering emotional support to individuals and families.

  • Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)
We implement projects that provide access to clean water, handwashing facilities, and safe sanitation systems to reduce disease and promote healthy living environments.

  • Prevention & Control of Diseases
We conduct screenings, distribute mosquito nets, promote vaccination, and run campaigns on healthy lifestyles to prevent common communicable and non-communicable diseases.

Our Impact & Vision

Through health and well-being initiatives, we strive to:

  • Increase community awareness and adoption of healthy practices.

  • Improve access to essential health services for underserved populations.

  • Reduce preventable diseases and maternal/child mortality rates.

  • Build healthier, stronger, and more resilient communities.

Our vision is a society where every individual enjoys the right to health, where families live in dignity, and where communities thrive in well-being and resilience.
